Just a little Catch up to make up

So I've been out of High School, for a little over a year and the shocking thing is some of my friends from then haven't been seen since. It's become a startling truth that has made me dumbfounded. Especially since for more than three years Jane, Lucy and I spent a lot of time together organising our Vietnamese Dance Routine & Performance. So for a special gathering, we met up and caught up. We spent hours just talking, because thats what you do when you just haven't seen each other in so long.

We met up by Anish Kapoor's installation outside MCA and went up to have lunch at MCA's Cafe. We all ordered BLT with our own drink. I had T2 Peppermint Tea, I am definitely wanting Peppermint tea part of my teas that we keep in our cupboard. It just feels extra refreshing. It was a horribly windy day that day, but everyone was catered so sweetly by the waiters/waitresses. I have never had a bad experience here, but I always tend to visit on the worst days. Last time it was raining.

Since neither made frequent visits to galleries, I took the honour of giving a tour with my loud mouth to create vivid stories or possible artist intention in the Taboo Exhibition. Discussing the stigma around nudity, racism and all sorts.

Afterwards, we took a quick detour to Custom house so I could show them the miniaturised version of the CBD. While we were looking at the mini buildings, standing above it all in awe. Lucy made a confession. She had said to us that she had never been. Jane and I were taken back by this, because it was the location of both our first dates with our partner. We insisted that when she gets a boyfriend, they'd spend their first date there.

Ahhh, I hate it when that feeling of not seeing good friends hits you out of nowhere. I've been meaning to catch up with my best girl friends but they're still super busy with midterms or broke haha. It's one the best feelings to meet up again, just to see how far we've grown and at the end of it, you'll realize how strong your friendship is to last months, even years without seeing each other.

I really love the pictures! And same here, I haven't seen some friends since last year, because we are both too busy. Too, too bad!
